Joy Print Club has evolved from their shared passion for bold colourful print, pattern and design and a desire to bring joyful, affordable art to everyone. Carolyne and Nicole's creative journey began when they met over 30 years ago whilst studying art. 
 

Carolyne began her career as a surface pattern designer, creating one-off prints for fashion and furnishing, selling worldwide. After two decades in the textile industry, she now works in her garden studio, swapping the high fashion fast pace for more simple pleasures of creating art inspired by her life in the Cambridgeshire Fens and the characters she meets. Her studio assistants include a miniature schnauzer Betty and her 3 cats, Coco Chanel, Connie Pearl and Marvin. Nicole worked as a graphic designer for many years in a variety of roles from in house financial companies to greeting card design. She now works for herself on her passion of printmaking from her home near Ely Cambridgeshire. Nicole has a love of simple bold shapes and mainly works in black and white with the odd spot of colour when the mood takes her! She has recently also taken a spot at Ely Market. When she is not creating you can find her on the yoga mat (not that well), walking their 11 year old black lab or grabbing a coffee and a cheeky cake with her husband!
